Bird Fever
Bird fever is a virus that birds transmit to humans. Infected parrots, parakeets, turkeys, chickens, ducks, peasants and pigeons are the principal transports. The virus attacks the respiratory tract once it is inhaled into the body. Fever, sore throat, headache, loss of appetite and profuse sweating are the first symptoms that occur within ten days of infection. Further symptoms include coughing, difficulty breathing, abdominal distress and death. Staying away from sick birds in the best way to avoid this virus. Bird fever has no immunization and be careful when you buy your child a pet.
